Accessibility
We want everyone to feel comfortable at Edgbaston Park Hotel and have the same great experience. That’s why accessibility is a priority for us, not just a box for us to tick.
To help make getting to us easier, we have several disabled parking bays adjacent to the main hotel, available free of charge. Level access to the hotel is made through automatic sliding doors, and a lift will take you to all our bedrooms and conference venues with ease.
Level access is also provided into Hornton Grange via the new extension to the rear of the building. Due to the historical nature of Garth House, accessibility adjustments are limited; however, level access is available via the rear of the building. This will give you access to the building’s ground-floor boardrooms and toilets only.
Peter Scott House, which sits apart from the main hotel and our other venues, is equipped with a lift and accessible bedrooms. All its conference and event rooms are on the ground floor.
Accessible bedrooms with adapted ensuite bathrooms are also available in the main hotel. Simply choose an adapted standard room when you book. Accessible toilets feature across the hotel’s communal areas, and we have a Deaf Alerter to support those with hearing difficulties.
Our grounds have been thoughtfully planned with access in mind too, with step-free routes, slopes at appropriate gradients, and clear lighting and waymarking to enhance visibility.
If there’s anything else you need, from an adapted seating layout in a conference room or restaurant table to a change in your audio set-up, all you need do is ask. One of our friendly team members will be happy to assist, no matter the time of day. We can also create a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan for you if you require one. Just let us know at arrival.
